Following my blog on 8 things that clients use law firm websites for, I’ve detailed here some of the most annoying habits that law firm websites exhibit.

So, what really annoys people?

1. Out of date information
2. Too much text
3. Dead ends and broken links
4. List of credentials that masquerade as “news”
5. Can’t find people
6. Only details senior people (ie partners) – is no one else important?
7. Slow uploading time
8. Stock photography

I’m sure that there are many more, but we all use the internet as part of our daily lives and are very capable of judging good and bad websites. There really is no excuse for a bad website – it reflects very poorly on the firm, damaging both reputation and brand.
